PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A Large, 23 cm long, Classic Cabinet Botryoidal Malachite Stalactite Specimen.
This is an extremely aesthetic piece with multiple (around 30) chimneys/fingers and several "sinkhole' type centres formed into a couple of the sunken Stalagmitic formations. Well formed fingers in a bed of "melting" Botryoidal Malachite. A stunning piece of great interest. This is formed in the open Copper Rich cavities in the Likasi Copper deposits in Democratic Republic of Congo and is formed by the Copper content in the surrounding Cu Rich Dolomites leaching and dripping into these open vugs and forming green oxidised Cu malachite layers, stalagmites and stalactites.
