Rare and Ultra-Rare Collection
With over 35 years supplying hundreds of shops and rock businesses, and more than 40 years of mineral collecting experience, we are well qualified to recognise “one-off” unique pieces—items that may never be found again. Super rare doesn’t always mean super expensive; these treasures range from affordable to top-tier rarities. Examples include an old Tsumeb specimen, Papagoite, Rhodochrosite, a perfect Golden Rutile Crystal, Indicolite, Red Olmiite, Cuprosklodowskite, an Elephant Bird Egg, a 12-ton petrified wood tree specimen, or a 150kg Orbicular Ocean Jasper display piece. We are passionate about searching for these “needle in the haystack” anomalies, whether it’s a 200-year-old carved box from Madagascar, antique jewellery, artefacts, or old mining memorabilia.
I have also released items from my private collection, built over 40 years. This includes more than 5,000 minerals, around 2,000 fossils, and 11,000 stone tools and palaeoanthropological artefacts, along with other unusual finds. Collecting has always been my passion (hence the Toprock logo), and I understand the excitement of seeking out pieces for their beauty and the knowledge they offer. We never know what we’ll discover next, but we always look forward to the adventure.
