Polished Set of 3 Bright Spessartite Garnet Faceted Stones x 1 From Sperrgebiet, Namibia

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a set of 3 bright Spessartite Garnet faceted stones, also known as Mandarin Garnet. The set has one central emerald/octagonal step cut stone measuring 6 x 7 mm, with two smaller, elongated baguette cut stone of 6 x 4 mm on each side. The colour is intensely saturated, deep and fiery orange. The stones weigh 3.47 carats in total and have a vitreous lustre. They are eye clean, with only a slight haze in the centre of one stone, and they show an intense flash of colour. These are rare 1980s stones from Namibia. As a trilogy set of rare Namibian gem material, they are ideal for making a pendant and earrings set.
