Natural Cascading Citrine Cluster x 1 From Luena, Congo

This is a natural Cascading Citrine Crystal Cluster from Luena, Congo. Natural yellow Citrine is rare - this piece has a gorgeous formation and is 97% intact. Almost 14 cm across. 

These are not easy to come by these days as Luena hasn't been producing much citrine and there has been mostly white phantoms in cascading clear-white-smokey crystal clusters coming from this famous deposit. If you actually see the road to to Luena, you will never complain about a pothole or bad road again in your life..pure mud and huge holes in remote Congo....and you can only get to the actual mining area by motorcycle. Most Citrine is heated to make ïmperial Citrine from Amethyst and sometimes from certain smokey quartz types, but this is Natural and very beautiful.
