Natural Green Epidote Cascading Quartz Crystal x 1 From Messina Mine, Musina, South Africa

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This piece is a natural Green Epidote Cascading Quartz Crystal with phantoms and a rainbow viel in the etched large termination. From the old 5th Shaft in Messina Mine (Messina quartz with Ajoite made Messina Famous, but this one has no blue) from the old Messina Copper Mine (1900-1989) in the town of Musina, South Africa.

Messina Quartz is extremely sought after and this one is a nice 12.8 cm perfect, pretty nicely balanced cabinet sized classic Messina Mine Epidote coated Quartz  with "cathedral window", etched crystalline faces on its terminations and a semi crystalline green Epidote crust on growing on the one side. It also has hundreds of small cascading crystals growing up its sides, right up to its neat termination.
