Natural Rare Rhodocalcite on Dolomite Specimen x 1 From Mashamba West Mine, Congo
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
XL Cabinet Specimen of VERY Rare Pink Rhodocalcite. This is a cobalt-coloured Dog Tooth Calcite, which is a very scarce mineral from the Mashamba West Mine in The Democratic Republic of Congo. This specimen is over 17 cm long and almost 1 kg, with Gemmy Translucent Pink Crystals and a few rare, Tan-Green Botryoidal Kolwezite Crystallization in crevices, and on crystals. This is a classic Rare Mineral that is not easy to get ahold of. It's not perfect, and has some cleaved points on it, but it would also be several thousand dollars anywhere else. This piece is beautiful and very well priced for such a rare, beautiful 17 cm specimen.
