Verdite is a light to dark green Serpentine-like mineral dating back 3500 million years ago and has swirling patterns of different shades of green and yellow/gold in it and has been a popular stone to Carve because of its homogenous medium soft texture (but its pretty hard and even has corundum in it) Diamond tools and excellent skills are necessary.
