Hand Made XL Dancing Woman Verdite Bust Sculpture x 1 From Zimbabwe

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

A fairly Substantial 16 kg/ 23.4 cm 39 cm High x 23,4cm Traditional African Woman Bust who looks like she dancing or twisting. Diamond Tooled Verdite, beautifully and charismatically Carved in fine detail with the character of an middle aged Normal, but appreciated Rural lady showing her shining normality and health and contentment through pose and movement.  Carved traditional sash necklace with beads and gems imbedded into it. 

Verdite is a light to dark green Serpentine-like mineral dating back 3500 million years ago and has swirling patterns of different shades of green and yellow/gold in it and has been a popular stone to Carve because of its homogenous medium soft texture (but it's pretty hard and even has corundum in it) Diamond tools and excellent skills are necessary.

This piece has nice fluid realistic movement, which is what every good Artist strives for in a Sculpture!
