Natural Botryoidal Kolwezite Pseudomorph after Malachite on Chrysocolla Coated Cobaltoan Calcite x 1 From Congo

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This is a natural and rare botryoidal Kolwezite pseudomorph after Malachite on Chrysocolla coated Cobaltoan Calcite. The Kolwezite is found as an oxidisation mineral of Copper and Cobalt when they occur together, like they do at Kolwezi and Mashamba in Congo, but also often contains Zinc and Nickel.  Nice, velvety, tan-coloured semi fibrous textured balls of Kolwezite, perched on nice, blue Chrysocolla on a Pink Cobaltoan Calcite in Dolomite. Not too many of these around, for certain!
