This is a striking Silky Malachite Botryoidal Stalactite specimen. Gorgeous chatoyant concentric ring patterns showing the Stalactite growth patterns (deposits like cave habitarium can be dated by counting the "rings"). From the L'Etoile Mine, also known as the Star of the Congo Mine. The top has a chatoyant open ring pattern branch exposed, and the whole piece is velvet.
