Natural Exquisite and Classic Emerald Green Large Cabinet Sized Dioptase Specimen x 1 From Tantara, Congo

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is an exquisite and classic emerald green, large cabinet sized Dioptase specimen. Disseminated Quartzite Dolomite matrix that is almost completely coated with large, shiny, cubic, interlocked rhombohedral crystals, often terminated in a three sided pyramidal habit. This excellent specimen displays the highly sought after, deep, saturated emerald blue-green colour. The crystal faces exhibit an extraordinarily high vitreous, glassy lustre reflecting in all directions, with crystals measuring up to 15 mm. These crystals are considered very large and well formed for the species. This rare copper cyclosilicate is a very large, perfect cabinet specimen that is 99% free of any bruising, and it originates from the Tantara Mine, Katanga, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
