This is a highly prized rare rough natural pair of honey orange Zircon faceting material from Madagascar. This is a bright, translucent pair weighing 20.515 carats in total, and it should cut at least 6 - 8 carats of very bright faceted stones, based on a 30-40% recovery. The colour is silvery-grey and clear, turning to mandarin orange under light. Zircon is a dense gemstone with a specific gravity of 4.7 and nice transparency. This Madagascar material is rare and highly sought after, though it is rarely recognised. Nice!
