This piece is a Natural Twin Amethyst Crystal Specimen with Phantoms (Both Crystals) on a Quartz Matrix from Brandberg, Namibia.
These special crystals are found in the 80 million year old volcanic basalt vugs in layers formed during eruption of the Brandberg Mountains and then the molten silica forms crystals in the receding contracting magma as it cools.
