Polished Large Smokey Quartz Floater Crystal x 1 From Mulanje, Malawi

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This is a unique,  Polished and Natural, Large - 20 cm High - Smokey Quartz Floater Crystal from Mulanje, Malawi, with Smaller Crystals on the base. Very Shiny and reflective with a sharp point, clear surface, a slight white phantom, Spade shaped Termination and a whole dozen or more tabular joined crystals growing at the base of the main crystal (much like an Elephants Foot). This one is a Floater Formation and has fine "frosty" crystal regrowth on the bottom and the back is natural and recrystallized. 

This a 20 cm Tall Crystal and weighs 4.3 kg, so is quite substantial. And its a really unusual formation from an unusual location. I doubt more than a handful of these Mulanje Crystals have ever been polished, but we had to polish this, as was milky and now its beautiful!
