Polished Mutokolite Sphere x 1 From Mutoko, Zimbabwe

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

XXX Rare Emerald-Green Mutokolite Chrome Muscovite Mica Ball with Fluorescent Ruby. This unique material comes from the Mutoko in the Great Dyke in Zimbabwe, a very geologically challenged complex area, and we actually thought we had Emeralds until it was analysed and came out to be closer to Clinoclase and is a gemmy Green Chrome Muscovite. Only a few of these Spheres were made (By Garie and Trudy: Toprock lapidaires) and this particular sphere has a fluorescent Ruby, and the green fluoresces blue (one of only 4 in the world.) This comes with a wooden stand for display.
