PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A Perfect 13cm Dragons Egg with Fluorescent Clear Gypsum Crystal Centre growing on top of the Black Calcite Vug Lining. This is Both Natural and Polished and this "Dragon's Egg" made from a Natural Septarian Crystal Centred Nodule from Mahajanga, Madagascar. This piece looks like a prehistoric, cracked-open egg.

The Septerye Sauvage, (Septarian) is a 3-4 coloured gemstone composed of rich dark Chocolate brown Aragonite, often vibrant yellow Calcite, and subtle tan-grey Limestone, formed 50-70 million years ago during the Cretaceous Period. Born from volcanic sediment and ancient marine life remains, these nodules from Madagascar feature stunning internal cracks filled with shimmering crystals. The Natural Septerye "Cracked patterns, open black Calcite Crystalline Centres certainly look like something prehistoric cracked this natural but polished nodule open and hatched out to grow up, eat everything in sight and then possibly to eat some more innocent Princesses from the Fairy Tail Books!

Dragons have been feared and mentioned in almost every World Culture, yet it doesn't seemed to have crossed many folks minds that this is because there were fossils and Dinosaur bones around in almost every country in the world. (Hence in many Dragon Stories, The Prince turns the Dragon to stone with a Golden Sword ..or such likes.. and saves the Princess!)  I am sure most Fossil Collectors would kill to get into the time machine and head to Fossil Rich areas, as, obviously folks from previous cultures and civilisations must have already picked up the obvious best Fossil skeletons and specimens as they found them! Interestingly, many modern day Princesses love these Dragons Eggs, and this is very special one!
