This comes from a Dragon shaped Hill near the mouth of the Hot springs at Tshipise in Limpopo Province (near Musina (old name; Messina) . Tshipise means "Hot Place in the local Vhembe tongue and is a hydrothermally made rare Gemstone variety only found at a couple of locations around the Messina -Tshipise area. 

Dragonsblood Stone Bastite, a rare material sourced from Tshipise, renowned for its thermal hot springs. This exceptional collection features a captivating blend of green, red, and earthy hues, reminiscent of Dragonsblood stone. Bastite is a combination of Epidote and Piemontite, showcasing the geological complexity and rarity of this material. Piemontite, a member of the Epidote group. Epidote, often found in metamorphic rocks like Marble and Schistose formations, results from hydrothermal alterations in various igneous rocks.
