Rare Dark Green Libethenite in a Ferro-Copper Matrix x 1 From Congo

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This is a Rare Dark Green Libethane (Libethenite) Specimen in a Ferro-Hematite Copper Matrix from the Shituru Mine in The Democratic Republic of Congo. This is a fairly smallish 6 cm Specimen but has very Shiny, well formed Drusy Orthorhombic Crystallization. These rare specimens have only come in twice on 35 years of dealing in Congolese Rock Specimens. Libethenite is a secondary Phosphate Copper Mineral and good crystallisation is scarce.
