Natural Large Classic Dioptase Specimen x 1 From Likasi, Congo

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This is a Natural, Large Cabinet Classic Dioptase Specimen with Super Shiny, Emerald-Green Crystals from Likasi, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This piece is 98% intact and 15.5 cm long and almost 1 kg, with 80% of the surface of the Dolomite Matrix coated with nice large and radiant Dioptase crystals with an area of Crystalline malachite coating. This is a large Cabinet size piece of 15. 5 cm x 11.5 cm and its very cler why Dioptase is one of the most sought after mineral specimens when you see pieces like this.

Its quite rare that Congo Dioptase gets to compete with Tsumeb and Namibian material, but Congo has produced some seriously beautiful and ultra shiny deep green specimens of recent times. Nice!!
