Natural XL Botryoidal Malachite Specimen x 1 From Congo
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This is an absolute Classic and Beautifully Formed Sparkling Crystalline XL Botryoidal Malachite Museum Specimen. 19.6 kg of Gorgeous Balls of malachite in a large, very aesthetically pleasing bright green Botryoidal cluster formation. Over 40 cm wide and super shiny crystallization. A superb Specimen indeed! Too Beautiful for words.
These rarely get down from Congo in this size or this perfect. A Centre Piece! These grow in pockets inside of open vugs/cavities . Copper Saturated Dolomite and Gangue material gets water logged and leaches through the ground (it rains a LOT on the Congo!) and drips Cu to form layers of Alkaline Copper (Malachite is 66% Cu). You can use Malachite to date an area Geologically from working out the precipitation rate and layer build up and counting the inner rings/layers. Lets hope nobody wishes to cut this one up!!
