Polished Ammonite Segment Specimen x 1 From Richards Bay, South Africa

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This is an unusual, half polished half natural Ammonite Segment Specimen with a crystalline vug, Amber Calcite and groovy suture patterns.

This piece from yesteryear and comes from a Northern Natal Private Collection and was self polished by the Collector many years ago, but shows a beautiful and unusual cross section of the Richards Bay Ammonite dredged out from the harbour when they rebuilt it. I have kept it for display in my cabinets to show off the segmentation inner pattern for many years.
