Polished Large Flat Silky Malachite Plate Specimen x 1 From Kasompe, Congo

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

This piece is an XL but thin Polished Large Silky Malachite Plate Specimen with Chatoyant Rings and "eyes" all over it, from Kasompe, Congo. This is a delicious piece that's over 27 cm  x 26cm wide and only 32mm thick, but only weighs just over 2kg (A piece this size would normally weigh 4-7 kg).

An Absolute beauty with Gorgeous and Bright Dark and pale Contrasting Green Ring patterns all over, but the Chatoyant play of light effect is especially prevalent on the larger rings, with some natural crystalline vugs here and there. This would look fantastic on a nice plate stand and is a substantial display specimen, without the weight (Malachite is heavy and is 66% Cu)
